Geena 2 work and data flow. The final alignment is achieved by aligning the average spectra which are computed by averaging all spectra from the same sample. Samples may be grouped according to some common origin or characteristics, e.g. cases and controls. Reference to the original spectra is maintained in the final alignment, and this can therefore be passed to other tools for further analysis, e.g. for differential analysis and biomarker discovery
