Several categories for the preclustered PCA are more outward and at a different location than for the PCA without preclustering. Categories (PCA scores) are shown as points, which can be correlated with phases of the cell cycle (connected by lines). Dark points have a ICC which is larger than 0.2. Specifically marked is the category "cell wall organization and biogenesis" (GO:0007047, represented by star symbols). Cell phases are indicated by names (G1, S, G2, M and G1/M) also used by [12].
